New Charger in Cork?

Anyone know where I can get one, just got my DS Lite today & the charger isn't working...before anyone says it- no I can't bring it back, bought from ebay...already waited long enough!

It isn't an original charger (American came with it, they threw this one in!) & it charged for a bit then I heard something go in it...light doesn't come on anymore so I presume it isn't charging...

sounds a bit sketch...
mine only charged for an hour or so when i first got it, are you sure it's just not fully charged?
does the DS power up?

if it is the charger, then game should have them afaik (could be wrong though)

No it defo isn't fully charged...has now powered off!
But I was thinking that I don't have to get a new charger at all as an American charger came with it I just have to get a power adaptor!!
Tho I remember not being able to find one of those before too, you can find them to adapt to other countries but it's really hard to find ones to adapt from other countries to here!!!

You need a step up transformer for 110V -> 220V
Maplin electronice have them - is there a Maplin in Cork ?

not too sure what kind of price they would be in Maplins, but i remember paying €20 for one not so long ago... it would most likely work out the same getting a new charger

(i've got one going spare if you're interested , would be an awkward size to post though)

I actually was able to find one today at Game just 9.99 so not too bad seeing as I was spending nearly 100 on games!!!
Yes we do have a Maplin in Cork! Didn't think of looking there tho...
