Business proposal help please!

    Hi,

    I am trying to create a business proposal to present to the bank and to the head of a franchise. Can anyone offer any advice as to what I should include? I have started writing a CV and I intend to include my aims and goals for the company. My experience is short but well decorated. I think it would be better for me to focus on the future rather than my past.


    Has anyone ever been in this position or have they ever received a proposal? Can you offer any do's and don’ts?

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    you can get hundreds of free sample business plans from google.
    read through them to see whats the norm and apply it to your situation.

    think long and hard about what your role will be in this company,
    "doing it all yourself" / "managing others to do it" etc etc and angle your plan from that perspective.

    As subway said there is lots on the internet about this so just do a search.

    The kind of things you need to cover are:

    Customer Proposition
    Product
    Target Market
    Current Market Analysis
    Competitors
    Pricing
    Financials (past & future)
    Marketing
    Contingency Plan
    Exit Strategy

    You should have an executive summary of 2-3 pages that covers all of the topics in brief.
