    Hi
I remember when I was a kid seeing an extended version of SM2
on TV where there was a lot of extra scenes and at the end SM
destroyed his home in the North Pole.

Anyone else remember and if so does the DVD have this version ?

Maybe not seeing as it messes up the story for the new film.

I´ll wait for that release though!!!

However I _KNOW_ I saw that as a kid with my friend (On RTE I think)

    according to wiki its a 2006 re-edit ??? mystery.

    Anyway cheers .

I think there have been longer cuts shown on TV in the past but never, afaik, the full 'Donner Cut'. It's quite common for distripution companys to have different (sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.. somtimes just dubbing over a naughty word) edits of a film for television, compared to cinema or dvd releases.

Have mixed reactions about this. I love Superman II and would watch it over and over again. But i'm excited about it, i have to admit.
