Radio reporting that the N7 now has the 3 lanes open.

    Anyone travel it this morning?
    Much difference?
What speed limit is there now (wouldn't it be funny if they kept the 60 limit for a few weeks)

Wouldn't it be sensible while people get used to the road layout, and learn how to drive correctly on a three lane road.

3 lanes opened yesterday outbound as far as Johnstown and 3 this morning from Kill all the way inbound.

Yes there were loads of eedjits in the outside lane (including a truck carrying a load of glass) and traffic was unusually quiet anyway this morning (nothing at Newlands or Red Cow!) but it did allow the 100KMh all the way down yesterday and all the way up this morning. Cuts around 20mins off the journey if one was sticking to the 60Kmh limit during the works.

Kill/Johnstown to Naas is not finished yet but not causing too many problems. I would say end August is the aim for that section including the Maudlins slip road.
