build my own laptop

hi everyone. i was wondering if its possible or is it easy to build my own laptop. i have a laptop just want to upgrade it. change motherboard and processor. any website where i could by the parts? is the motherboard the same type as his for pcs?

Its possible to build your own laptop now but still not very cost effective at the moment until truely swappable platforms are developed.As for upgrading an older laptop with new parts ie.mobo/cpu its not really possible and certainly not worth the time trying to figure it out!The only thing upgradable really is hard drive,ram,and to some extent in newer laptops the processor maybe(but mostly not very cost effective).

You can change the cpu in most laptops but its just not really worth it....
