Def Armagh look to be big contenders, dark horses Cork. They will be happy with the way they threw aside Kerry. Thing is they could get complacent and if that happens it wont be good considering the progress they've made this yr

It looks like a Dublin v Armagh final, with Sam not straying too far from Croke Park afterwards.

Armagh will not be complacent when they know they will probably have to play Kerry. Would not be awarding a final place to Dublin just yet either. Galway are capable of beating us as are a few of the other teams left.

I'd have to say Armagh look like carrying it over the border this year. The Dubs are impressive but the Leinster championship isin't what it used to be in my opinion

If you've been following the championship this year, you might have noticed a big improvement in Leinster this year - evidenced by each of Longford, Laois and Westmeath coming through the qualifiers to Round 4. In each of the three previous years its been 3 Ulster teams and one other who've made it through. So a big turnaround this year.

Dublin have beaten Longford who went on to beat Derry, and Laois who went on to beat Tyrone. But of course that does not mean they are better than Armagh.

Armagh look the stronger team, but they have the tougher run to the final.

They are improving though. Not much can be taken from Laois beating a severely under-strength Tyrone. Laosi and Offaly should be interesting though. Looking at all the contenders and the way the draw works from here it does look like a Dublin v Armagh final. There may be a few surprises between then and now in other games, but I still think that is what we are going to get.

Like the confidence lads, wish I shared it. Still have my doubts about this teams use of possession, we had a truck load against Offaly and only killed them off in the second half. 14 wides is a worry.

Dubs have a great chance this year of reaching the Final. Alot of the big teams seem to be struggling and the Dubs seem to be going strong. I would wait a while tho as there are a few big teams well capable of beating us on their day also. I think on the Offaly performance, Armagh would have been about 10 points up after 20 mins against us. The backs were far too loose and if it were against the Armagh full forward line, they would have taken their scores alot better than Offaly did. I can see the Dubs getting into the final once things go our way and we continue the way we have played the last 2 second halves but i think the smart money would be on Armagh at this stage.

I didn't think the Offaly backs were loose till the second half when they tried badly, i thought they defended really well in the first half.

Don't get me wrong, we've a great chance, but in reality everyone left in the competition does, especially as some of the better teams on paper seem to be struggling for form. There are plenty of teams out there who could turn us over yet. As the ol'chichey goes we have to take it one match at a time.

There are some obvious concerns about our performances to date as well as plenty of encouragement to be taken from the performances.

Winning a shed load of possession is great but when winning that much should we be putting teams away a bit quicker? We simply won't win that much ball against the likes of Armagh, so the ball we do win will have to be sued more economically.

Just think talk of finals is premature.

I mean the Dublin full backline were too loose, not Offalys.

talk of the final is very premature, Dublin still have to beat Galway/Westmeath and then Mayo/Offaly/Laois. Plenty of opportunies for an upset.

Ah right, I was wondeing ... they seem to come in for a bit of stick but with Cahill following his man out the park, Griffin and Henry were left exposed on their men quite a bit, all in all considering how good McNamee and Deehan are, I thought the lads coped well. Every shot they had was under pressure which led to a couple of wides. There are question marks about Cahill at 3 mind you.

Armagh are now around 4/1 on Betfair, behind Dublin and Kerry. Any believers should pile in now, before Longford remove Kerry.

It wasn't quite a backlash. They were far from impressive. They'll have given Armagh a few things to think about, but not a lot to worry about.

    you'd never know with armagh,
having said that Kerry did get four goals the last day, and I think the Dublin back like may struggle against Kerry if that happens. Looking at how Loais handled the Offaly forwards the last day, they cleaned up, yet these same players caused Dublin alot of problems, mind you the pitch was narrow and croker was wide enough for Offaly to send in a slightly different type of ball to the forwards, where as alot of the ball the Loais backs had to deal with were high.
I think if Kerry played Dublin that they could go for goals and maybe destroy them, but I think that Armagh will stop that from happening.
