We are looking for a part time house cleaner 2-3 days a week for about 2-3 hours each day. The house is a 3 bedroom family home located in Santry close to the airport and accessible by several bus routes. We would require regular house keeping to be preformed hovering, dusting, bathrooms, dishwasher & ironing.

I have already rang around a few companies and the rates are fairly expensive for the tasks at hand.

Please PM me for more information.

Cr8or, if you hire a cleaner through an agency or a company then expect to pay €19-€24 per hour. Sometimes there is a minimum of a 4hr charge.

If you advertise and pay cash to some random person then expect to pay €10-€12 per hour.

A lot of non-nationals girls advertise their availability to do house cleaning in local supermarket type notice boards. Not strictly above board as it's 'cash in hand'. Expect to pay €8 - €10 per hour.

I personally would prefer a complete stranger to clean my house than a nosey local/neighbour. The fact that the cleaner will have a key and know your burlar alarm number makes it unlikely that they will steal anything as they will be a chief suspect. We've had several different complete strangers in over the years and never had any problems.
