Dreamweaver won't display remote images in design view

    Anyone know a fix/workaround to get Dreamweaver to display remote images (images that are on the web and linked to from your html) in the design mode ? It refuses to do this and it's a real pain.

    Any ideas ?

    stop using dreamweaver :)

    seriously I am very suprised Dreamweaver doesnt allow this - especially Homesite (the hidden program) does this automatically

    Use the preview option instead .....

    I don't think there's any easy way round your issue though..

    What version of Dreamweaver are you using? I know Dreamweaver 8 allows this in Design mode, but it was the first version to allow it. If you are using MX or any previous version I would recommend upgrading as Dreamweaver 8 is actually a big improvement on previous versions.
