    @ The Underground, Kennedy’s – Saturday 22nd July

    30-32 Westland Row, D2

“One of the UK’s worst kept secrets” as he was recently described in DJ Magazine, Mike Monday will be gracing the hallowed turntables of The Underground on Saturday the 22nd of July. In keeping with Big Dish Go’s forward thinking and up front music policy it was felt that Mr. Monday would be the next logical step in a line of cutting edge international DJ’s who have recently been brought over to play the venue. Mike has a long list of credits to his name including remixes for artists from Bizarre Inc to U2 and of course his own productions, which have been receiving “rave” reviews from the dance music media for some time now. Other recent successes for Mike include his “Playtime” Saturday night club in the Egg, London, which when recently visited by an Irish contingent was described as “the way clubbing should be!”

“Nobody else is doing the House Music scene quite like Mike is at the moment…his sound can not be described or summed up by attributing any one genre to his style. He is with out doubt the best DJ I have heard in a long time!” Tim Sheridan – NastyDirtySexMusic/VeryVeryWrongIndeed

On support duty, local and no doubt soon to be international heroes Arveene and Calvin James will be going back to back for a two hour set. These boys need no introduction as they are probably the best loved DJ’s on the Irish club scene and each with their own distinctive sound should provide an interesting aural treat for those there from the get go.

Conor Feeney, Bigger Picture/Big Dish Go co promoter/DJ will kick things off on Saturday setting the scene for the night with his rag-tag-mix-bag DJ set which will cover everything from Ska to Electro and beyond.

Doors for this event will open at 10pm and admission will be €10…not bad for an Underground, Saturday night out.
