Got some repeats coming up.(maths I and II, maths physics I and II, analogue electronics). Would like to know if the library is open during the summer or?
    It's hours?
It's going to be hard to even get the materials I need to study.

Library is open 9-5:30 (or till 5 on a Friday, innit?).

Word to the wise, talk to the necessary lecturers. They'll more than likely give you some direction as to the content of the repeat paper. Moreso if you feed them some tale of woe as to why you failed in the first place.

Family issues, poverty, debtors prisons, oprhanages, dying of consumption: take your pick. The more Dickensian the better.

Tis a bitch.had the repeats on tuesday and the the night before was soul destroying in the HELL HOLE THAT IS CORRIB VILLAGE.I "think" I prob passed my exam but I will repeat the yearif I do not get Pharmacology.

What course are you doing? You could always appeal to your course director if it is not an essential part of your course.

Earth and ocean science in 2nd year did calculus for some weird reason. Dispise the subject. And now i will have to repeat the year for 2 hours a week worth of lectures

Were you in undenominated science? What subjects did you choose apart from EOS?

Well think about it.You can relax next year and spend more time on important things like getting drunk and generally sleeping in lectures.

Im in denominated earth and ocean In first year i also did chemistry maths and biology. This year i passed all my subjects that matter as part of my course except calculus which I dont need. Are you sure i can get through to 3rd year if I talk to the head of the department. Have you heard of this being done before . Its a bit unfair to all the others who passed all there subjects.
    Thanks

Depends. If you get above 35% they will pass you by compensation.although it is at the discretion of your lecturer.E-mail or ring your lecturer and explain your difficulty.Be firm but nice about if you ring him.
