They've been in England too long...

Anyway, they wish to visit the Burren, any ideas of places to stay and additional places to see whilst in Clare?

They are in their late 50's, so no paintballing please.

    :p

    Thanks for any help.

Had the same experience myself last weekend. Ended up with a real winner - take them to the Cliffs of Moher for a cliff-top walk (they can do anything from 2km to 10km). They will find them awesome.

Then later that day bring them to Doolin and take them on a Cliffs of Moher cruis. It takes 1hr and gives you a completely different perspective. Very cool.

Ailwee caves also excellent, and I here that Doolin cave (newly opened to visitors) is good too.

The beaches at Lehinch and Milltown Malbay are likely to be thronged at this time of year - ask around for a quieter beach if you want to do this.

Kilkee is also very pleasant and has lots to offer - Seaweed baths, cliff-walks, beautiful swimming conditions, good food, pitch 'n' putt, etc.
