It's a guide price as Im not sure what they normally go for. I got this price from Ebay.

I bought mine brand new from a camera dealer in Dublin for 199, I think that's why people think it's high.

Well you can get them brand new fromebay inc shipping for 160 so something in the 100-125 is more realistic

True, but they charge a huge amount then for the shipping! Up on €40 - €50.

Is it the APO II lens. Gold stripe or Red ? There is a massive difference in quality

Im not too sure as the lens is at home. I have the spec sheet here at work if you want me to list anything from it that might indicate what quality it is?

Granted the thread has been here for a while, noticed it before but the difference is that before it was just highlighting the presence of the ad, now it has progressed into prices/offers/PM suggestions and all the things you aint supposed to do... that I believe is the point!
