Hi, just bought a 98 civic srs.. just want to know can anything significant be done with it to increase bhp, or will it just be the aul air filter and exhaust job? I really don't want it to be the loudest crock on the block tbh.. subtle is best

I've heard that inflating the tyres and polishing the car does wonders.. :o

In short no,you'd be talking mad money to get any power increase, unless of course you go down the forced induction route

best bet is sell it and get a VTEC instead. Its be cheaper than trying to gain nay more performacnce out of that engine
