Where would I get a reasonably priced outfit for an informal wedding ? He has a Jacket. Need shoes too. Don't say "Burton's" or Marks, pleeeze ...! Thanks :)

Penney's sell nice suit jackets and the matchin trousers

A plain black suit [which I have, and it very nice, and extremely worth the money!] is €42 [trousers are €9, jacket is like €33]

then they have Navy pinstripe, white, and beige

Other good place is Arnots Bargain Basement. they have suits from 60, but ye can only buy the jacket with the trousers it comes with [cant mix n match like Penneys]
