    Just wondering, has anyone ever used this service, and what was your experiences? I plan to go from Shannon to London next month and my flight is at 06.30 am. Can I just go directly (through security)to the departure gate for say,approx 20 mins before the flight, and walk on the plane?

    Hey

    I have used it and I found it handy. Only thing is with any flight out of Shannon the queues for getting through security will be long. Also you have to get your boarding card scanned (little barcode) and verified against your passport. So with such an early morning flight be there at least an hour because there will be very few security on before 6.

    And remember that online check in is only available if you are travelling
    with hand baggage only.
