    Hi,
Just wondering how sky digital works in principal. If I had the set top box and didnt have the card would buying a card suffice to unlock channels? Anyone know of a good site to buy these cards on line?

    Thanks

if you want subscription channels then you need to contact Sky

Channel 4, 5 and Sky Three, you need a FTV card. these can be gotten off ebay or from a contact in the UK

If you just want The BBC/ITV TV and all the BBC radio and about 20 other decent free TV and about 20 other decent free radio you don't need a card or Sky box at all. An FTA system from about 140 Euro self install will work.

Sky only supply the Freesat C4 / Five / Sky3 card to UK postcode. Note that is Sky /NDS property
