    Hey All,

Myself and a few of my mates are heading to Bristol for a long weekend. Basically it was dirt cheap for the flights so I am just wondering does anyone know anything about Bristol?

Any advice would be appreciated, or details on good places to stay.

If i were you mate the only thing i would do is take the train out of there to Cardif. Bristol is a dirty kip a concret jungle. Better to go to Cardif.

    Agreed....

There's some fantastic countryside around it though.

You could take a train to Bath.

I agree. And I'm Bristolian - I hardly ever go back there now and most of my family have moved away. I woudn't recommend it as a holiday destination tbh. Bath, on the other hand, is a lovely city.
