    hi
a quickie here for anyone knowledgable

i have a map of ireland (300x300) and i want to make it 100x100 but when i make it smaller in PS the quality diminished...
can anyone tellme how i can either
    1) maintain the quality while changing size
    2) if i select the resized country and fill the selection on a new layer the new country is fuzzy also?? how do i prevent this - i would like to have it clean

    Thanks alot

Would you be able to post the image by any chance?

have u tried exporting as a web image..
When large images are made small in PS it shows them as fuzzy on the stage... Is it fuzzy after zooming etc ya?

hmm Other than that i cant see why it would lose quality...?

See if the default colouring is set to Index? If so change it to RGB, reduce the size, then resave the image
