Just thought I'd give people that went a heads up on this. Tried to find the original thread from last year to put it in but the search is complete and utter w@*k.

Anyway, BBC2 11:20. Don't really remember much from the weekend myself so I'm looking forward to this. ;)

Yeah they played at it alright but I don't know what acts they'll be showing.

ahh sure they'd have to show them, and the flaming lips also

    it would be a sin

I don't remember any cameras during Arcade Fire. Then again I don't remember them during Kraftwerk and they were on the ad. Flaming Lips are definitely on it. Hopefully a bit of Nick Cave and LCD Soundsystem.

There's Nick Cave, Arcade Fire and Flaming Lips for definate

    from the EP board:
Electric Picnic: The Documentary captures the flavour of a fresh and eccentric face on our music. The scene: The Electric Picnic Music Festival in Stradbally Hall Estate in Co. Laois…25,000 punters joined in. Filmed on nine hand-held cameras with a small crew and directed by Nick Ryan from Image Now Films, Electric Picnic:The Documentary guides the audience through the boutique festival and treats us to such delights as Kraftwerk’s first live perfomance in 12 years plus Nick Cave, Arcade Fire, Human League and Fatboy Slim and many many more…

How is it Kraftwerk's first live performance in 12 years when I saw them on the Minimum-Maximum tour the year before?

it basically consisted of a few interviews and a song from each of these
    stereo ms's
    flaming lips
    royksopp
    kraftwerk
    doves
    fatboy slim
    human league
    nick cave
    mercury rev
    arcade fire

think that was it though there may have been more.

kinda like an episode of 24 with all the split screens. thought it was good, but there could have been more shots of the camping area, body and soul etc.

funny in places, especially the silent disco scene

It was a nice reminder but not much of a documentary. Arcade Fire's performance sounded much better on the telly than it did in real life.

It was pretty poor al round and in my opinion not worth staying up for... Fatboy slim was asked by davis mcwilliams (2 annoying people eh?) how having a a baby affected his and zoe balls lifestyle... yes it was that ****...

Wasn't too impressed with it tbh. A bit too artsy fartsy for my liking.

No the Electric Picnic is brilliant. It has a real laid back feel to it with a much older crowd than Poxygen.

I just felt that the doucmentary made it look like it was full of tree huggers and artsy types.

I know someone that works quite high up in MCD and the word is that they're fairly worried about the competition from the EP especially with regards to facilities, staff, vfm etc.
