Can anyone recommend a dentist in the Swords/Santry etc area who would be good a dealing with phobics? Particularly any that have clinics on Saturday or evenings. Will travel further afield for someone good.
    Thanks in advance

    I'm hi-jacking your topic:

Can anyone recommend a good Dentist and/or Hygenist around the Dublin 13 area? I used to go to the guy at Sutton Cross (great Dentist), but he keeps you waiting waaaay too long - his waitigng room policy is retarded.
I also went to a guy called "Liam Dromeda" in Howth, but I get a strange dozy vibe from him, so I don't want to let him near my teeth. Also - his receptionist is very unorganised, as they cancelled an appointment on me at the last minute (one I had been waiting 3 weeks for, so I could get a good timeslot) becasue they "forgot" it was a Bank Holiday. Idiots.

Any suggestions? Contarf? Baldoyle? Raheny? I don't want an old person, as they're out of touch with the latest tools, techniques, and technology.

Not true...some of the best dentists are the old ones. They have spent more time studying in many cases and also can afford all the latest equipment, etc.

In dentistry, there is no substitute for experience! Who do you think teaches the young dentists? ;)
