Ya, it is possible it was just a coincedence but i think they should decide the venue live and use some methid other than flip a coin. Of course if a team like dublin were playing it wouldn't be fair on fans to have low capacity grounds now would it

Will Kerry fans bother turning up, even with a home draw?

i hope so, the crowd at the kerry v cork replay was very low. I personally would go if i was home in kerry. Think Kerry need some good support to get them back on track.

It seems more than coincidental that Galway and Kerry got home advantage, although I shouldn't complain as we got home advantage.

As for predictions for this weekend:

Galway-Westmeath: Galway to squeeze home by 2 points. (Hopefully)

Kerry-Longford: If it was played in Longford, then I would give them a good chance. However Kerry to win by 4 points.

    Fermanagh-Donegal: Fermanagh by 1 point.

    Laois-Offaly: Laois by 5 points.

As a Westmeath man living in Ballinasloe (Co Roscommon) it kinda suits me to go to Pearse stadium also I think there will be more Westmeath than Galway. Haven't been terribly impresed by either side so it depends which Galway side shows up the one that played the second half v Roscommon or the first. Galway have no midfield but neither have Westmeath. Was at the Bocelli concert in Pearse Stadium last Saturday and thought he played a blinder(sorry) and i hope Dessie does the same this Saturday. Both Westmeath and Longford chairmen were on today saying the games should be played in neutral venues, disgrace that Longford have to travel to Kerry. Predictions
Westmeath after extra time (might as well dream). Kerry by 10, Donegal a.e.t,
Laois by 5. A nice bet maybe do a yankee on the 4 draws should be 7/1 at least on all.

I think most would agree that most Kerry fans only ever travel when the reach the final.

They don't believe in going to the other games but you can be sure for hell they will be giving out about not having enough tickets.

The ticket problems in GAA will never be resolved as if it will never be done properly the smaller counties would complain as they wouldn't get there chance to sell on their ticket allocation to people from counties in the final for a few extra euros (another thread on its own and has been said many of times)
