I'll be up and down to Galway over the next few weeks, catching a bit of the festival and I was wondering what each of the posters have planned to catch in this years festival, and what they would recommend others to try and see?

I have two tickets for David Gray that I won, so I'm off to see him Wednesday night. I will try and get to the Stunning tomorrow night too. I know a guy who got two tickets as freebies and I'm first in line if he can't go.
The Big Top is nice and mellow with a few beers.

full sure i had a look at it a day or 2 ago. wonder what happened

my gf is in 2 plays so i'll be at them. "bright smoke cold fire" and "the memory of water".
also going to "the cripple of inishmaan" and "country music". and the late puppet show in the rowing club by "Rampant Rabbits". ;) sexually explicate puppetry- sounds like a giggle!

probably try to get into some of the stand-up comedians in the kings head.

There were a crowd of bizarre hippy-types cheering on some juggling on Shop st. yesterday. As if such displays weren't bloody everywhere here every single day. Wierdos. Oh well. The big screen in Eyre Square is a nice move.

It would be better if it werent as loud though. The volume somewhat ruins the ambiance of the Square I think.

David Gray was fantastic last night.
Came out and did a half hour encore inc. "this years love"

I got into David Gray for free so only stayed for the few songs I wanted to hear. He was excellent... Forgot about 'This years love', I woulda liked to hear it.

Did anyone spot the drummer? He was absolutily cracked in the head. The concentration on his face lol he looked constipated!
