Looking for drummer and bassist

    Basically, me and my mate have been jamming for a good while now and now that we have more free time we wish to start a band. We are looking for a drummer and bassist.

    Our interests are in long jams ussually involving classic rock and psychedelia. Our musical interests include: Pink Floyd (Especially early Syd days RIP), Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Wishbone Ash, Dire Straits and other simular bands.

    In terms of drumming we would love a drummer who prefers roomy drums bordering jazz. Not closely micd drums like metal and stuff. Can properly improvise and likes Ginger Baker :P

    Not really fussy about bassist but an experienced one would be nice.

    We are situated in north Dublin and would love to hear from you.

    Ages around 19-21 but not really fussy at all.

    hey, I play drums. I can improvise, but to be truthful it's usually out of necessity. I have my own kit and I like your idea

    Yay. Where abouts are you located, Dan? and age/influences and suchlike? We're not really looking for professionals, (I'm crap, to be honest), just mainly jamming, having a larf, but hoping to be able to gig sometime in the future.

    (I'm the "mate", by the way, not a randomer)
    (Well ok, I am a randomer, but I'm still the mate . . .)

    in rathfarnham, 19. I don't have influences. I fall in love with one or two bands at a time. right now it's the mars volta / at the drive in. but I like anything with energy. such as jimi hendrix
