    Hi,

A friend of mines brother has a horse running tommorrow. she usually comes good this time of year and their very happy with her and last week i was told they would be sending him out soon and are confident of a good race. Since then he has been declared for Killarney tommorrow but i havent heard confirmation yet and hes also now declared for another race later in the week, so the reason i posted this was to let you know to check back between 5pm-6pm tommorrow after i get the final word and ill post on the tips thread wheter its a go or not. Previous word for this horse has returned good profits so it will be fairly reliable and certainly trying but as with all tips nothings certain but it helps to have a bit of extra knowledge.

    Cheers
    Dvdfan

    Ok,

Gemini Guest 7.00 Killarney, managed to get most of my stake on at 5.0 & 4.6, very pleased considering hes 9/4 on Paddy Powers.

Not expected to win this easy, but theyre confident hes a very good chance tonight. To be honest they are a bit worried about the fav, More rainbows but in my own opinion Gemini Guest is 12lbs better off than the last time they met when Gemini finished 3rd behind the winner More Rainbows and Gemini will be fitter tonight and has a bit more experience of fences now (first time over fences this year, previously only raced hurdles).

Could well be worth putting 10% of your stake on a More Rainbows to beat Gemini guest forecast to cover some of your stake but as ive said owners are very happy with him and its sure to be a good race. p.s Dont mix it up with Gemini Lucy whos in the same race who is also being well backed today)

So hope the information helps and at least we know Gemini will be going for it!

    From racing post:
GEMINI GUEST has a fair chance of exploiting the 12lb concession that he gets from MORE RAINBOWS. There was only 6 1/2l between the pair when they clashed at level weights at Roscommon last month, and though More Rainbows won again at Navan five days later he was no more than workmanlike on that occasion.

As the winner of last year's Galway Hurdle, it was on the cards that More Rainbows would make an effective novice chaser for a summer campaign, but it should not be forgotten that Gemini Guest was also a useful handicap hurdler at his best. He finished a fine second to Cloone River in the 2004 Galway Hurdle, and won the valuable Dawn Milk Handicap Hurdle later the same week, form that suggests he should do better over this trip than the 2m at which he was third to More Rainbows at Roscommon.

Heres hoping tonight anyway, as you say, usually comes good at this time of year...

Well this should be an interesting race, as the owners of Gemini Lucy have told me that they have been aiming this horse for the race tonight, the original plan was galway but they say she is in good enough shape to take this, although a poor/average performance could mean keeping her for galway. As has been said before there has been a twin (excuse the pun) gamble on this and gemini guest. I am however going to stick with More Rainbows, best of luck dvdfan!!

I am on Gemini Guest as well, small stakes, should be an open race.

Whats going on? Has he lost a leg on the way to the start?

Sorry About that one, doubt it he was going to get near Gemini Lucy even if he didnt fall, guess they were worried about the wrong horse after all

Well there's always next time, i ended up betting r/f/c* on both gemini's.

    *reverse forecast for those newbies.
