Whats the best program to back up an old audio cassette to WAV/CD

    Folks,

    Whats the best program to back up an old audio cassette of voice recordings to WAV and ultimately CD.

    I used a program in the past, Goldwave or something I think it was.
    Anyone recommend s/w that's good for this job. Preferably freeware.

    Proposed setup:
    Output from a casette player to the line in of soundcard,
    record what appears on line in -
    save file as wave -
    burn to CD.

    I just tried it, beware that you have to copy all plug-ins to the vst folder, it won't hunt them down for you.
