    Hottest places at the moment are Birr and Kilkenny at 25c,they will see 29 probably by late afternoon.

    Of course other inland areas will be as hot but unless they have an official shielded weatherstation,we wont know.

    i have to go out now for cigarettes. i think it might be time to quit. i really don't want to move away from my fan.

    33 degrees here in Surrey. Work at home, so have a draw-through breeze going across my desk, am in shorts and a vest and barefeet and have a bottle of water on the go. Self employment is teh win.

    It's going to be even hotter in surrey by wenesday/thursday.

    You could see 37c or almost 100f , thats a bit like saudi arabia.

    25 now in Dublin also.

    28 in Dub and Belfast is possible today,tomorrow and up to thursday which hasnt happened in a long time

    The official shannon log for today is here and at 10am this morning it was 20c

    It's now 24c
