7 dayshop have a 2 gig compact flash by keymem for 25 sterling. I think I read somewhere a while ago that large drives suffer from corruption/camera's not recognising them etc,is this still the case?I have a D60 and D20. Seems like a great price.

id recommend you sign up and go through to the final stages of the checkout, to see exactly how much it is after postage and packaging because sometimes they can whack on double the price of the item for that. if its still under 60euro, then it might be worth it.

however, i know komplett.ie are very reliable and very cheap prices for good products. im not sure about you, but 7 dayshop might not be as reliable and might take longer to come.

personally id go with something like this:

    http://komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=314256

    safer option :)

I have gotten a lot of stuff from 7 days shop and I have had no problems so far.On a side note,I have a sandisk 1g card and a twinmos one with the twinmos from komplett being a lot cheaper.Only difference I have noticed so far is that when reviewing shots on the camera, the twinmos is a bit slower going from one shot to the next.I also had a twinmos in a point and shoot for about 2 years with no probs whatsoever, though i wasn't into the photography much at all back then,so it wasn't used too much.

I bought a non-famous brand once, put it into my D70 at the time without much forcing it went in, but it managed to bend a pin, had to send it back to Nikon UK where they replaced the part for free.

Since then, I only use SanDisk. You can get them on ebay, new from the US for very good money.

7dayshop charge a flat-rate £3.95 for shipping so that brings it up to £29. not a bad price.

I wouldn't trust any unknown brand CF card for my photos - until you back them up - you only have one copy.

Bought some cheap CF cards from 7dayshop for MP3s in my pocket PC. No real loss there if they fail.
