    hi all

my son had his 2nd birthday over the weekend, thought I'd share these for comments.

I have another set with not so waxy skin, but thought these suited his youthfullnes a bit more.

    any comments welcome.

taken with D200, sigma 20-40 2.8 (@40mmand f8), nikon sb800 flash gun set on tripod with difuser.

Those are excellent ! Specially the first one - its a great pose and a great capture, the b/w conversion is spot on as well. Possibly with the first one I would crop a little of the bottom of the picture out - looking at it now the 2nd one could maybe be cropped as well. The 3rd one is fne crop wise, and the pose is very funny - it does look a teeny bit grainy though which doesnt seem to suit the picture. Having said all that they are great pictures though.

You have an extraordinarily photogenic son :) Great shots, the first especially. The second is a bit over exposed though.

thanks for the comments everyone - personally I have a hard time deciding on the first one or the 2nd one as my favorites.

I love the moment of the 1rst one, and statuesk pose of the 2nd one, almoset sticking his chest out saying "look at me".

thanks Zillah - he does seem to like the camera. Funny though, I thought the 3rd one was overexposed?

I'm not normally a fan of "up nose" shots, but these are brilliant!

Actually when I first looked at these it was on my crappy work monitor, the second one isn't as bright as I first thought.
