    I don't know about High on Fire... but I'll probably pop into Battles tonight. There's a drought of gigs between now and the end of August.

    Oh yea. I've heard good things about Islands... just that recent MCD shill gave a bad association. I'll check them out.

    Anybody go last night? Must say I wasn't too impressed, was expecting a lot more especially after the write-up they got in the Metro yesterday (yea, I was surprised too).

    Maybe it was the venue, I can't bloody stand Whelans or the majority of it's clientele.

    I thought it was great if a little short. Im glad they stayed away from the more wanky tracks of the album (like BTTLS). Decal were interesting as well but way too loud.

    Also bonus points for Cormac Battle being in the audience. I think he must have been going mad from people going "OMG BATTLE AT BATTLES!"
