I get terrestrial TV via a deflector in the West. Its been working fine - up until tonight. Now RTE/NET2/TV3/TG4 are fine but BBC1/BBC2/UTV/C4 are crap - the picture is jumbled - although strangely enough teletext seems ok?

I wonder what would cause this?

I switched off the signal booster in the attic last night and switched back on this morning. Its working fine. Probably had nothing to do with the booster either - maybe a problem on the deflector side of things..

Well, hopefully, that's your problem sorted! It could indeed have been a problem on the deflector. I guess time will tell.

Having the same problem here but I reckon its atmospheric pressure with the current heat wave

Yes the muddled up pictures is caused by the area of high pressure currently over the country. Should be ok in a few days once the atlantic westerlies get going and move it on.
