Will my phone charger work in the US?

Hi - can anyone tell me if the 2 electrical things I'm bringing on holiday will work in the US without the need of a voltage converter? My phone charger and portable DVD player both say "AC: 100-240V" so can I take it that that means they'll work on both the US 110V and Irish 220V power supply?

    thanks in advance...

    Yes.

But: how will you plug them in?

You'll be fine if you buy a travel plug adaptor.

    mostly YES but not always!
If it says 100 tp 240 then yes.. you will just need plug converter.. travel adapter like last poster said.

Most of the time yeah, get a travel adaptor at the airport (or any electrical shop really).

Just remember that the adapter has 2 flat parallel pins for the US, be carefull not to buy an adapter with round pins these are for Europe.

    Enjoy the trip. :)
