    Hey,

Does any1 know places where reputable, professional teachers give acting classes. I've heard of few e.g. Gaeity but are there any smaller ones.

    Thanks.

It all depends on what you want. If you want to be a professional actor then you are better off doing a full time course in the gaiety or the beckett centre or getting experience by doing shows. The film base notice board in their centre on curved street is a good source of info about short courses. Good luck.

There are also plenty of workshops which happen in the city, led by established directors and teachers e.g. Corn Exchange usually run commedia workshops twice a year. Check out Theatre Forum or Irish Theatre Magazine.
