buying cars from the north

    has anybody ever bought a car from the north/england and brought it into this country to sell it at a profit? heard that you can make a right few quid at this,can anybody advise me of the pitfalls/benefits etc......

    As Bluehair said check the (importing a car from the UK) sticky. You would be better looking at importing from the UK in my experience as they tend to be cheaper than NI. Also you really have to do your homework as to what car will yeild a profit. By the time you factor expenses and VRT you may find the car is worth not more than the selling price here. It really is a buyers market not a sellers in Ireland.
