    hey,

I'm going into a travel agents during the week to book a trip to Oakwood in Wales. I have a couple of questions as I've heard different versions of travelling to the theme park.

1/ I looked up previous posts (there was one from 2004) about carrying a passport with me. Now im 16, turning 17 in two months. I will be the oldest of the group (the rest being all 16). Just wondering if we will need this for travelling aboard the boat.

2/ Does anyone know the rules regarding going on this day trip under the age of 18 and going unsupervised? Will we be allowed to travel on the boat?

They're the only queries that I have at the moment. If I think of anymore I'll post them up.

    Thanks a bunch!

I was there with a group at the weekend. I didnt need a passport or proof of age or anything like that. Just got a boarding ticket with my name on it, thats all.

We went there for a day trip last Sunday and weren't asked for ID. We had our driving licences but didn't have any ID for our children.

I don't know about unaccompanied under 18's. If you have any photo ID, student card etc then bring it to be on the safe side. Phone beforehand to avoid any problems
