my tickets (touch wood) should arrive this week, then its time to start planning the cheapest route there. we're thinking of flying into france and getting the train down, which should be relatively inexpensive. to those who are going, how are you getting there?

anyone else sitting in Block 47a?

there are still a few on ebay.ie, you'll end up paying at least twice what they are worth but imo its better value than paying e750 + for a package deal, and being forced to travel with a bunch of skangers.

If you fly Dublin-Karlsruhe with Ryanair, it's only about 80km to Stuttgart from there.

This is going to be like Paris all over again, with double the amount of skangers and half the amount of match tickets to go around. The chances of not bumping into skangers are remote no matter where you fly to.

I have to be back on the Sunday, am considering an Aer Lingus flight out Saturday back Sunday, expensive but assuming I would spend the difference on accomodation/gargle if I went on the Thursday/Friday anyway.

Probably won't bother going though, San Marino via Italy in February is inifinitely more appealing.
