Look back through the Snooker/Pool forum , there have been several threads about sources and prices of tables.

A mate use to work for a snooker / pool company in Park West , he said they did new and 2nd hand / refrubished tables, worth a look.

200eu for a pool table
    is it a proper table?

i paid 550 second hand for mine and it was worth every cent.
some of them flimsy wooden ones are useless.

Havent seen it just was given a price have 6 to spend on it, i did buy one when Pierrot club closed down, but my garage was full of **** so my mate was minding it, breaking his heart to give it back (coin operated brand new carpet beautiful table) so he buying me one.

That would be nice but their prices are a joke.

I paid 100 for one of those when that place closed down, so im being cheap.

    yeah,
some of their tables are pretty flimsy iirc.
perfect for indoors but if its going in a shed youd be better investing in an ex pub model.

the one we have is coin-op,
takes 20p coins tho, so unless we ditch the euro its stayin on free play mode ;)

its a class table and the clock has over 80,000 games on it.
its still perfect with the beer bottle opener intact
and a cloth that only had about 500 games on it when i bought it.

i wouldnt buy one new, a new pub one would run to about 12-1300,
theres a place in waterford i think that did refurbished ones,
they wanted 850 for it, delivered and levelled,
including cues, new cloth and balls.

if thats too far over your budget head for the buy and sell and check out a few,
we bought ours and the chap delivered it for us and everything.

    good luck :)
