    OK,
As we all know this is a tedious job that none of us like doing..:(

Now it is obvious that the rear of the truck gets the dirtiest with all that oily residue mixed with dust/dirt gets lodged.
Looking at it there are no electrics to mess about with so I am thinking.. !!
How about using some engine cleaner along with an old toothbrush and paintbrush ? ( you know like the stuff in motor factors) GUNK...Jizer... engine degreaser.. Then Hose it down.. Blow it off with a compressor or whatever.. then spray it with WD40..
    Anyone tried this?
or do you have a better way?

I always take off the body and wheels and then put it under the tap for a minutes and then let it dry out, then I use grand pa's old mecieden, WD40. Works for me I have to say:)

Sounds similar to what I was thinking except the de-greaser would help big time.. ;)

I use Q-tips to get at the hard to reach areas as I'm not always hellbent on removing bits and pieces from the chassis.
Thinking of taking the Hyper out for a bash heh

Thats what I was trying to get away from.
My guess is just to remove the wheels.
Get yourself a spray bottle and put some degreaser in it and spray into the hard to get at areas along with spraying the chassis/engine.
Then a gentle scrub of the heavily soiled parts and wash it away with a hose.. Blow it with air and WD40 to finish it off.;)

Went out today and bought an aerosol can of Engine degreaser.
Gave both the Maxx and the Revo a good spraying of it..then a quick scrub with an old toothbrush in the "heavily" dirtied places... A quick squirt of the garden hose to rince it off... Brought them accross the road to the cycle repair shop to use the compressor to blow off the excess water.. :D
Brought them back home and gave them a shot of WD40 all over...
    Results??
    Excellent..
I reckon this cleaning after every couple of uses (depending on how dirty they get) and maybe once a month or s give them a bit of a stripdown and a proper cleaning..;)

    Well to be honest,
Its only the rear of the trucks get dirty from the oil residue out the exhaust mixed with dust = mucky crap..:D
So, Just a dust down around the front area and a rub of WD40 sorts that end fine.. So I dont have to go near the electrics box. ;)
