WMV to anything

I've searched and I can't find anything that works. I have some videos that are in wmv format and I want to convert them to xvid, divx or mpeg - preferably one of the avi formats. I've tried MMConvert and I just get "All tasks complete, but all failed" - which is helpful. Tried WinAVI as well - appeared to convert but the output files were about 10% of the original and they won't play in anything including VLC. Also tried TMPG but that just wouldn't even try :D

What do others use to convert from WMV?

I just gave Blaze Media Pro a try and it seems to be working fine. WMV to MPEG or AVI. Its not free (trial version) but I hope that helps anyway.

get the latest version of super here http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html its free and coverts most things to most other things if u follow.

I've been using it for flv files (youtube et al) saved from keepvid to convert to mpeg and avi and it does a respectable job , obviously some quality loss but acceptable goign to try it with avi - vob fro dvd later on

if all else fails check the ever reliable www.videohelp.com for some good info
