    5.10 Stratford Longvuelle Manor

With McCoy on board today i think this ones nailed on to break her duct in this company. The danger will be sea map but the last 3 times Longvuelle Manor came second she was going well but needed that something extra in the last furlong and i think McCoy will get that out of her today. So a nice flutter on Longvuelle Manor and a reversed forecast with Sea Map just to cover me hole.:D

Some of you may have read this as I posted this already on wannabet in attempt to have the first winner on the new forum :o:)

2:35 Curragh: Emirates Airline Minstrel Stakes (Group 3) (4yo+)

I hope I don't regret saying this.................. but I think the odds-compilers have priced this one wrong, and there is value to be had in opposing the odds on favourite Noelani - and backing the inexperienced Storm Cat sired Tiger Dancer. A big worry is his lack of experience (only raced four times). He won way back in 2004 as a 2 year old in a maiden at Leopardstown over the same distance and conditions. His last time out was very disappointing (last out of 4). That said, his 6th Place out of 15 against a very tough opposition at Newmarket last October was very promising, and I’m sure this horse will be an improver. I know that Fallon has his troubles at the minute, but I have no doubt that he will be looking to keep up his impressive Curragh record of 21%. Trainer O’ Brien, is no stranger to the track either, and his horses have a very impressive record here at 23% wins. At time of posting, the early price of 4/1 looks very tempting indeed. I expect this horse to improve, and hope that tomorrow is the day.
Regarding the odds on favourite Noelani, there is no denying that this filly has good credentials. She likes the expected ground, (Good to Firm), and has won over this distance last year. However, I think her recent performances have been disappointing to say the least.(especially this year). Trainer Dunlop (who has never had a winner at the Curragh out of his four attempts) has Seb Sanders booked. Sanders is very inexperienced here compared to Fallon, and this should give Fallon a good edge. The other horse in the race is the decent enough Jedburgh, who, in my opinion will be the biggest threat.

Bet: Tiger Dancer to win @ 4/1 (Paddypower)

wbailey - I don't want to hijack your tip, but I was talking to one of the guys that travelled over with Jedburgh yesterday (head lad in Dunlop's) and the rumour is that Tiger Dance isn't 100%. And if Fallon isn't happy with how Tiger Dance is travelling that he is to take it very easy on him.

This conversation was over a few pints last night so it could've been sh1te talk - I don't really think that O'Brien would run a horse that isn't 100%.

He reckoned that Jedburgh will win this easy ?!

Yeah, It's hard to say. Sometimes you hear these things, and they are rubbish, and sometimes they turn out to be true. There is fantastic prizemoney on offer for this, so I hope they will push for the win. It is a shame that there are only 3 horses contesting this really. Should be an interesting one to watch anyway :)

The 2:05 looks like another Nina and Katie benefit race. Katie Walsh is on the fav, Royal Alphabet but I'm siding with Nina's mount, Tour De Force. 4/1 seems a good price when there's only one closely matched horse to beat imo.

I think Alexandrova is on a fair price so won't be backing in the Oaks and apart from that, the races look tricky to call.

Thanks. It was the jockey who won that race. I think that with another rider it could've been beaten. What a woman that Nina is! :)
