    Hi

I have just installed Windows Server 2003 in Virtual PC 2004. Everything looks fine. Except internet activities. The Windows is setup as part a workgroup and pickup IP from the internet router. It is able to browse the router web console and can ping any internet address out there. One thing is driving me mad crazy it cannot browse any website, cannot open any FTP connection or other internet activities? What is wrong? No firewall is active on host or the virtual machine.

Try disable IE Enhanced Security in Windows Components.

So click Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, Windows Components, Enhanced Security and uncheck it.

THis will eliminate this being the issue with your connectivity
