So eh ... i did the olympiad in UCD and i did the final test for the team but they never gave me any results which they did last year.
    Anyone know anything about it?

I just think it was bad play to give me no word on it ... i really went out of my way to get there every Saturday!

If you get on the team you hear within a week or two...

    Hard luck...

The photos of the guys who did get on the team are on the International Mathematical Olympiad 2006 website, if you're interested.

    The team lists appear here:

The years I did it, the top 20 or so got named and ranked and sent out to everyone who did it, along with a set of ample answers. I did the training in Maynooth though - they actually care about the students. UCD put less effort in - and get less students on the team, despite a bigger base.

yeah that's true ... it was all done so lackadaisically in UCD!

i'd like to see how some of them were done though ... very interesting!
