    100FO at the gold club. Still early in the tournament on level 2. The pot gets raised from EP and both the blinds call. The flop is 2-3-5 all spades. The BB leads out at the flop. The preflop raiser over raises big to 3K and the BB comes back over the top all in for about 6.5K. The preflop raiser calls. The BB had KQo (with no spade) and the preflop raiser had AK of diamonds and his Ace high holds up for a double up.

    It felt truly amaxing to be in the presence of such greatness. Limerick really is the home of quality poker in Ireland.

    There is a sticky for this at the top. I agree this is pretty mad though.

    Oh ok of course. I think the KQo guy made a great play and was very unlucky he was out-thought by the AK guy who must have had a great read. I can see this calls for an indepth strategy discussion on the EV of the KQ bluff and the AK call. I await this discussion with a whetted appetite.
