    Stuck my xbox 360 at 1080i and noticed a drop in framerate while playing C.O.D 2 , anyone have any recommendations - do people play in 720p ?

    Unless you have a 1080p TV you should get a better picture from 720p.

    360 doesn't support 1080p, so you should know your facts in future before offering advice.

    I know it doesn't support 1080p.

    But if you have a 1080p TV and run 1080i into it, it will de interlace the image and use all 1080 line. If you run 1080i into a 720p TV it will have to deinterlace and rescale the image which can add artifacts and makes all the extra lines pointless.
