Hey all hitting Florida in August for 2wks and just wondering what is there 2 do, me and a mate are going and we are renting a car and we are in our 20s. (has anyone rented a car when aged 23? was it expensive?) Could you rent one with a provisional ??

We'll probably spend a few days in Orlando, and maybe hit miami ? anyone drove around Florida before and have advice for us ?

    cheers!

Try Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, they are pretty reasonable. I'm not sure how it works if you have a provisional, maybe their website has some answers. Make sure to bring plenty of cash for petrol, right now in places its over $3.50 a gallon.

Do Miami South Beach good night spots on Ocean Drive; If you are driving do the Florida Keys I'd consider hiring a Harley for this.

if you are under 25 with a full license you can still rent a car but its an extra 10-20 dollars a day, not that much between 2 of you, whats that about €7 euro each per day, the petrol is fairly cheap over there still compared with Europe. i am heading over in sep for 10 days and im using www.argusrental.com they are the cheapest by a bit and their price on the website includes insurance all all that jazz, its €295- and thats for a decent car as well.
