Dell Inspiron 1100 AC Adapter needed

The AC adapter for my Inspiron 1100 is looking a bit worrisome as the rubber covering the cable is starting to crack and expose wire. Dell don't seem to stock replacement adapters for my laptop and I've tried to contact them to see if another of the adapters they sell will do but I'm still waiting for a reply. Does anyone…
