Anyone else have any trouble with these crowd?

I wanted to deposit 20 Euro into my account there and did so with my CC.
I got an error message three times, and wasn't quite sure why. I switched cards (knowing that MC sometimes is finicky about gambling sites) and deposited 20 with Visa, to find that ALL the transactions had gone through (despite the error messages).

So I wanted to withdraw my money and find that despite the fact that it clearly states on the website that you can withdraw back to your CC, the support people say you can't. So I open a neteller a/c and lo and behold find you have to deposit MORE money to get the money already in there.

I talk to the agents about this again and they tell me that if I cash out via neteller it will go back to the CC that I paid with. I'm dubious but ask can I quote them on this. They say yes and off I go.

so I get a mail from Neteller today to say that the money has entered their account which I now have to set up to withdraw back to my bank acount and pay off my CC.

I can't help but feel ripped off, scammed and lied to. I won't be using the site anymore, but any idea of complaint procedure? I've been lied to by two different reps so I don't see what going back to their "support" will do.

I tried to join them recently and gave up after my credit card was refused becuase they need photo id and a utility bill. Lost interest and went back to Tribeca instead.

Well I would warn anyone off using the site.

As it happened I won enough money to cover all the costs of moving my cash around the various accounts just to get it back, but they are at the very least guilty of making false claims on their website.

They state specifically that CC cash-outs are possible.

This it turns out, is a lie.

The agents tell users that cahing out will send money to a CC, this is also a lie.

Not exactly the type of dishonesty you want in people who handle your money.

Ian, you currently have one of the highest postcounts on boards now even though you have less than you used to. I lost a chuck too. The twilight zone is alive.....

I must have had 5000+ rubbish posts :(

Is Holdempoker on the pokerroom network? I used hollywood poker, and was able to cash in and back out in a matter of hours with Neteller.
Small rooms and skins tend to be trickier to deal with than the big sites. I had a Tribeca skin asking me for 3 forms of ID scanned and emailed before I could cashout recently.

It is on the pokerroom network. I tried once to put a few dollars on it but never succeeded.

Cashout to mastercards is impossible, but they should've been able to do some manner of refund/void of the transaction if there was a problem with the deposit. The lack of cashout to MC is due to their policies rather than the poker rooms. I'm not sure if poker rooms have the same options for voiding transactions/refunds as a normal merchant due to MC's puritianical attitude to gambling sites.

Visa should work ok but most rooms won't cashout to a different card from the one the cash was lodged with. It's not unusual for rooms to demand a neteller deposit before they cashout to the account, but they usually waive that requirement when you have used MC to deposit. Most of these conditions are there to protect the customer by verifying they own the account/card in question.

Whenever the deposit process seems to crash, I would advise checking whether a transaction has gone through before trying to make another deposit. It's not uncommon for this to happen with some of the flakier sites.

I was almost sure holdempoker was a Prima skin as I watched bad_ip playing there one night.

My high post count reflects the quality and usefulness of everything I've posted to date.
