I recently brought a nice, and slightly expensive, bottle of Limoncello home from Italy. I want to make cocktails/shots with it for a party but dont know what to do does anyone have any suggestions ?

yep, i know of only one way to drink it...

Chill a nice glass in the freezer, chill the limoncello... pour and drink without a single infraction upon its nature :P

Or if your insistent on not drinking it in this 'age old accepted' way...

    Mm.. drinking

thanks lads I was sort of thinking that would be the best way to drink it. looks like the neat option is best

Just one thing will it be ok in the freezer for the day or will it freeze

Yeah I wouldn't mess with it myself either, straight up in a chilled glass as the others have said.

Man I haven't had that stuff in a while, I remember it as being very tasty.

As everyone has said keep it in the freezer it wont freeze ( But saying that I have got two spurious bottles last time I was in italy where it appeared the alcohol content seperated and half the bottle froze !!)

Server in a chilled shot glass and enjoy as a dijestif after dinner !!

I've never seen such a flurry of posts on a thread here before.

The power of sweet, sharp, chilled Limoncello!
