I'd say you might have more luck posting it in the home entertainment forum. Try there.

be prepared for heartache actually getting it though
we ordered that tv from dabs, took over a month for the actual order to be processed. excuses varied from our credit card being declined (even though our bank would tell us no attempt had been made to debit it) to address problems.

in the end it seemed the actual *weight* of the tv was the problem. seemingly, to deliver to ireland, their system doesn't cater for any individual items weighing more than 30kgs. before the advent of these giant tv's, i suppose they never saw fit to cater for such sizes.

    the telly weighs......30.02kg.

.02kg, took a month to get sorted. mental

If you're buying off DABS they'll charge you VAT at the Irish rate of 21%.

When you get to the checkout page, the figure shown including VAT is higher than the one shown on the product page. Took me ages last year to realise the difference is the 3.5 % VAT difference.

Other UK online shops will only charge you the 17.5%, which is one reason I didn't get my TV off DABS.

I got my LE32R41BD (the 32" version of the previous model) from www.savastore.co.uk, with 17.5% VAT. And only £20 for delivery which took about 3 days. Works fine over here, but you won't get any Freeview (unless apparently you live near the border). My mate just got the LE26R74BD (26" version of your one) and he's really happy with it.

Savastore don't have your model, but shop around, you might find it somewhere else cheaper when you count the VAT difference

    [edit]
DigiUK.com have it for £774 including VAT, better than dabs £820. And I think they'll only charge you 17.5%, I was thinking about going with them last year.
