Cool capture - I like the reflection of the top of the drop in the water below ! Neat. Not 100% sure about the colour balance though - I might have tried a more silvery or sepia type look to that than a green-ish one. I would probably also clone out the yellow item reflecting in the lower right quadrant of the pic. Still a cool picture.

Whoa - just saw those other treatments in your gallery - excellent variations going on there.

Great shot... so crisp! What lens/settings combinations did you use for this shot?

20d kit lens at 55mm , 5.6 and 1/800,iso 400.I was cleaning out a beetroot jar and thought the way it coloured the water was cool.So i had a go at this shot cos I've seen some cool ones online.Filled the sink with clean water, pored some beetroot juice fron a new jar in and the let it settle down so that the colour would be at the bottom ,then just let the tap drip and shot away.I took 130 shots and got 3 that were ok.I'd say you could get much better results with a propper macro lens.

Good stuff... What processing did you do on it?

Curves, obviously messed with the colour balance, and i might have duplicated the shot and blended it as soft light, but I'm not sure cos i did 3 of them in a hurry, so i was trying different things.Oh,and shadow/highlight.

Looking good to me, very crisp, clean and looks like the water is evaporating almost. :)
