Exchange Server

Trying to figure something out with Exchange Server. At the moment we are using exchange server for our office e-mail. The e-mail is hosted by Blacknight, transfered from a catch-all account to the server and then routed to individual mailboxes. The problem I am having is that if a mail is sent to more that one person in the office, say to 3 people, then each person is sent 3 copies of the mail. I have no idea why this happens  Anyone had a similar problem or know how this can be fixed???

    Thanks for your help.

    John.

I had the same thing a few times. How is your server collecting mail from BK? if its pop then you need to set your server to drop duplicate mails.

Yep, it is using the POP connector. How do I get it to drop the duplicate emails?

if its sbs 2003 then BK will need to make the changes on their side as apposed to yours. We host some email for customers using mdaemon and they collect using SBS 2003 (pop connector). We had to configure mdaemon to drop the mail before the client connected to download. the pop connector in sbs isnt the best method for this. 3rd party solutions are much better or if possible use SMTP (either update your mx record or use ETRN)
